I’ve narrowed it down to the “2015” portion of the permalink. If I change the date to 2014 … it publishes fine. If I change the permalink structure to something without a date it works fine.

I would just change our permalink structure … but we’ve worked really hard to get where we are on search engines … and we’re heavily linked in social media and block features … so I’m nervous about what a permalink structure change would do to our rankings ….

Certainly! Below is the example of a working permalink setup for our site:

http://simple-color.com/2014/12/31/livey-grace/

However, if we try to publish using todays date like this:

http://simple-color.com/2015/02/17/livey-grace/

We get a 404 error.

The last 8-9 posts I’ve simply manually updated the date to Dec 31st, 2014 in order that they will show. Oddly, when you preview a post with a 2015 date it shows up without issue. The moment it’s published, however, the link breaks.
