In reply to: Cannot Post CommentsFigured it out .. it’s the way I have set up my comments in my code.. all a bit back to front, can’t figure it out: here is the existing code
<?php get_header(); ?>
<div id=”wrapper”>
<div id=”black”>
<div id=”left_logo”>
<img src=”/images/archives.gif” alt=”View Kokopelli Archives” />
<!– left logo close –></div><?php include (“http://koko.pelli.co.uk/navigationblack.php”); ?>
<div id=”blog”>
<div class=”blog_divide”></div>
<?php include (“http://koko.pelli.co.uk/recentphotosleft.php”); ?>
<div class=”blog_divide”></div><div class=”comments”>
<p>This amazingly un/interesting post was filed lovingly under <?php the_category(‘, ‘) ?>. If you’re mad, you can follow any responses to this entry through the <?php comments_rss_link(‘RSS 2.0’); ?> feed.</p><p><?php if ((‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && (‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Both Comments and Pings are open ?>
You can leave some love, or ” rel=”trackback”>trackback from your own site.<?php } elseif (!(‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && (‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Only Pings are Open ?>
Responses are currently closed, but you can ” rel=”trackback”>trackback from your own site.<?php } elseif ((‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && !(‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Comments are open, Pings are not ?>
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.<?php } elseif (!(‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && !(‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Neither Comments, nor Pings are open ?>
Both comments and pings are currently closed.<?php } edit_post_link(‘Edit this entry.’,”,”); ?></p>
<?php comments_template(); ?>
<!– comments close –></div><div class=”blog_divide”></div>
<!– blog close –></div>
<!– black close –></div>
<div id=”white”>
<div id=”right_logo”>
<!– right logo close –></div><?php include (“http://koko.pelli.co.uk/navigationwhite.php”); ?>
<div id=”journal”>
<div class=”journal_divide”></div>
<?php include (“http://koko.pelli.co.uk/recentphotosright.php”); ?>
<div class=”journal_divide”></div><?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
<div class=”post” id=”post-<?php the_ID(); ?>”>
<h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1><div class=”entry”>
<?php the_content(‘<p class=”serif”>Read the rest of this entry »</p>’); ?><?php link_pages(‘<p>Pages: ‘, ‘</p>’, ‘number’); ?>
<div class=”journal_divide”></div>
</div>
</div><?php endwhile; else: ?>
<p>Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.</p>
<?php endif; ?>
<!– journal close –></div>
<!– white close –></div>
<!– wrapper close –></div><?php get_footer(); ?>
It works perfectly if i move the:
<p>This amazingly un/interesting post was filed lovingly under <?php the_category(‘, ‘) ?>. If you’re mad, you can follow any responses to this entry through the <?php comments_rss_link(‘RSS 2.0’); ?> feed.</p>
<p><?php if ((‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && (‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Both Comments and Pings are open ?>
You can leave some love, or ” rel=”trackback”>trackback from your own site.<?php } elseif (!(‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && (‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Only Pings are Open ?>
Responses are currently closed, but you can ” rel=”trackback”>trackback from your own site.<?php } elseif ((‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && !(‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Comments are open, Pings are not ?>
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.<?php } elseif (!(‘open’ == $post-> comment_status) && !(‘open’ == $post->ping_status)) {
// Neither Comments, nor Pings are open ?>
Both comments and pings are currently closed.<?php } edit_post_link(‘Edit this entry.’,”,”); ?></p>
<?php comments_template(); ?>
above the:
<?php endwhile; else: ?>
<p>Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.</p>
<?php endif; ?>
If that makes any sense … Is there any way I can have the post page as it is with the comments / post comment in the left and the actual post in the white on the right?

In reply to: FTP Address, ID, PasswordYeah you need to get your ftp details for your domain then use an ftp client to log in. Once inside you need to navigate to the wordpress upload items.
Then go to wp-content/themes/yourtheme/header.php
Open that file and you should see the file path for the image:
<img src=”filename.fileextension” alt=”” /> – That’s where you will need to enter the location for the new image you want to replace it with.
