In reply to: Schema.org markupI believe this plugin would allow you to add the schema/microformat tags and not have them stripped out http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tinymce-valid-elements/
It will probably also work if you turn off the “visual editor” in user settings.

In reply to: WordPress 3.0 Upgrade Error Nightmare Finally Solved/FixedI just posted on the other thread and have just now seen this.
I am a re-seller, and I have this WHM and cPanel problem consistently with all of my, and my re-sold, accounts when trying to do the automatic update.
What info do you need from me to add to your stack of evidence?

In reply to: auto update failesWhat is the fix on that if they are using WHM/cPanel and Pure-ftpd? I think that is my problem, currently.
Thanks!

In reply to: Edit HTML?Click on “appearance” and then click on “editor” when the appearance menu appears just below that button.
This will list the php and style sheet files for your theme, and you should be able to edit them from there.

In reply to: Installed wp via fantastico: can't access wp-admin on my siteHello
I suspect the installation failed, somehow. Just use Fantastico to “remove” the WordPress installation, and then try again. Something probably just got lost in cyberspace the first time.

In reply to: After upgrading to 3.0, no way to publish new posts!I believe it is probably a tagging plug-in causing this problem. De-activate all plug-ins having to do with tags/tagging and see if that fixes the problem.
Then it’s just a matter of waiting for the people who publish that plug-in to release a fix.

In reply to: Can Amember Protect Entire Directory?Just a little *bump*
One person told me this can probably be done with htaccess if that helps. I just don’t know enough about htaccess to do that.
Thanks in advance for any help.

In reply to: Site Hacked? chr and tugalugatron in urlsThank you for the info. I think I have fixed everything.
They had put some weird code into the permalink structure on the settings page. No idea how they got in to do that.
Anyway, it’s fixed, passwords changed, security measures taken and it is now running WordPress 2.9
Thanks for the help!

In reply to: Installation / configuration / Admin Log in IssuesActually, this is your “true” login page – one that’s not in a frame or anything:

The style sheet itself can’t help you – I was just trying to help you establish your true path so that you can track down what’s going on.

In reply to: Broken SidebarIt sounds like you may have cut and pasted from Microsoft Word. This will often mess up your blog in many browsers. There is a way to paste from Word that won’t mess up your blog. I made a short, easy tutorial about it here: http://blogsolace.com/how-to-use-the-paste-from-word-feature-in-wordpress/
The code from Microsoft Word confuses most web browsers – the result is usually a messed up sidebar or, sometimes, a completely blank screen after the header.
