Have seen there has just been a new release of BetterDocs (v1.7.4)

Hi,
I can confirm the issue that @ashishmore is having.
We are running the latest release of BetterDocs and Elementor.
If you enable, within Elementor Settings, the ability to use Elementor for the ‘Docs’ type and then create a new BetterDocs document you cannot click ‘Publish’.
Nothing happens and no faults are raised (even with WP_DEBUG set to ‘True’).
If you then also click ‘Edit with Elementor’ (before the page is published) Elementor fails to load the editor.
If, however, you turn off Elementor as the editor for ‘Docs’ type, then create a new document and publish it and then go back and enable Elementor for ‘Docs’ type and edit the document you can use the Elementor editor. As a result though you cannot make any further changes to the document outside of the Elementor editor (as the publish button no longer works).
As it currently stands this means we are unable to use your plugin for our services as we rely on the Elementor editor for document content placement.
Hope you can look into and fix this issue.

It’s a real shame as PODS is by far one of the best plugins going for easy management of custom post types and fields.
Will certainly look to use it where possible, just wish Elementor / Smart Slider could read the image fields correctly (they read the text fields without issue).
I think the issue is that both those plugins work on images based on a URL whereas PODS only seems to create image fields based on image ID. If PODS had the option to present the image fields based on URL then I guess it could possibly work with the other plugins.

Thanks for confirming.
I guess the same can be said for the other plugins where I have tried to access the dynamic data in that case (i.e. Smart Slider).Will go back to working with ACF / CPT UI.
