I’m using 3.1.1 and it’s working fine for me.
Never mind. Updating to version 3.4.3 fixed the issue!
I did what MickA suggested and it worked – for a while. Then I switched themes and now it’s back to being vertical again (I checked the sociable.css and it hasn’t changed). I’m using version 3.4.1 if it makes a difference.
I was searching for answers to the same question. Your work around seems to have worked like a charm Arkix. Removes the page name from within the “page” section, but leaves it all intact for the menu bar, links, etc. Also does not remove blog post names on blog post pages. Thank you!
