I contacted Bluehost, and the support guy said he didn’t know why it wasn’t working, but he deleted and recreated the database user and now it’s working.

Does anyone have any ideas about this? I’ve not been able to figure it out, and my site is still down. I know the database is running.

Ok, figured out what was wrong with my code, but NOW I’m getting an error message from WP:
Error establishing a database connection
Making progress, though.

I’ve owned the domain name for a few weeks, so I assume it’s had enough time.
I just tried the public_html folder, and this time I’m getting:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home1/shanioco/public_html/wp-config.php on line 15
