I ended up adjusting the setting in BBPress to accomplish this.
However if I selected the Restrict to logged in I got my alert box at the top of the page but the forum still showed underneath it

In reply to: [Frontend Reset Password] rest_link not including the full path URLLine 373 in includes/somfrp-functions.php – seems to be misisng the variable to pull in the Page URL / Variable – I have manually edited this link on my site to get it work.
It looks like you have some old code at line 359 which did grab that variable – and it didn’t get added to line 373

Here is what I did
1) Logged into my site as a subscriber on my iPad – to access a restricted page
2) Logged into my site as the same user on my desktopIf I refresh the page on the iPad I am logged out (I tested this previously) however if I just stay on the page I don’t get any pop-up/logout the way I would if the session got reset and I was in the admin or is that because I am hiding the admin bar?

Ok – Thanks – I’ll see – The “Moderators” are not approving each entry as they are more so just monitoring the forumI didn’t even realize the editing is limited to 5 minutes by default that in itself may solve the issue.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Topic / Reply Edit NotificationThanks for the quick reply – The issue I’m trying to address is that I have a message board on a site (we are migrating from a single thread system) with moderators who check messages as they come in – the concern is if someone edits their own post the moderator won’t know to review the updated content.
I tried a different plugin that imported into posts and that worked. I ended up switching to a plugin that I just put the feeds into the shortcode and it displayed them.
I’m guessing there was a plugin conflict but not sure where
Thank you for the reply. The only error in the log was an invalid feed from the first feed I attempted to add.
I have 5 different sources and they all act the same. I will assume I have a plugin conflict somewhere – thank you for your assistance though

Thank you for catching that – Apparently although this plugin was disabled because the cache wasn’t cleared first it was still grabbing that content
Also it is working fine in our staging environment https://k5i.43e.myftpupload.com/products/l-shape-and-u-shape-desks/ which also has the caching

The platform I’m on does server level caching – additionally it still uses the cache while logged in as well. Additionally if I had ?nocache=1 to the end of the URL it will bypass the cache but still not load the imagesI will move platforms if need be but wanted to check all options before doing so
