the “channel id” can be seen in step 3 on longtail adsolution website, menu “setup” » your website “implement”, for example

this plugin [wordtube] uses jw flv media player from jeroen wijering. so if you want to embed videos from other sources, you have to ask jeroen wijering or use another wp-plugin (there are some with sim. capabilities).
