In reply to: quick help with not the right page displayingI had the same problem and just fixed it a few hours ago. Go to your Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Static page. Below that it says “front page” – choose the page from the pull down list that you want to be your front page. Do not forget to save the changes.

Create an empty page called “Redirect Page” with the slug redirect.
Where do I create that page? In the dashboard – where I add a page? Or in the theme folder using notepad?
