Good news, successfully deleted it through my dashboard and all appears back to “normal.” Thanks for your time and efforts! Scott

I had been waiting for my webmaster and a programmer located in different countries to coordinate deleting Jetpack from the cpanel or server for me when today I attempted to connect Jetpack through the wordpress.com Jetpack site. It worked! I was able to connect and activate it. Things seem to be working fine again, only thing is I still have a second instance of the Jetpack 5.21 plugin listed that is not activated. I don’t think I can successfully delete it and right now don’t think I want to try for fear of upsetting the applecart that now otherwise seems to be back on track. Any thoughts?

Thanks, I have had an ongoing email exchange with Jetpack support since last week. Problem is every recommendation from them has led to another issue and it takes 2-3 days for replies. The initial issue arose from a problem attempting to update the Jetpack plugin that knocked my site and back-end access completely offline. My server host went in and added Jetpack from one of his sites, which restored my site and back-end access. It took 4 days to get any reply from Jetpack support. So the latest was they told me to deactivate, delete and download/install it over again. And that led to present situation of a fatal error message and not being able to activate or delete Jetpack from my site. But at least the site and back end are accessible. So thought I might be able to overcome at least some of the issues by getting the logo to work directly through the theme.

I see it messed up in both Samsung Galaxy S7

and also on an Apple iTouch 5
