This same problem just broke my site as well.

Ah ha! I’ve figured it out… Just writing out the problem above helped me realize. The theme is using a javascript function to replace a font… By disabling it, I’ve fixed the issue. 🙂 YOu can find the function being executed in the the top of the header file if you are curious.
But i doubt all the posts are coming from the same spam-bot. Why would every single spam-bot go right to that post? It’s not particularly recent or popular…
