So my question has completely changed now.
I have managed to do the things I was after. However, the problem is that when I look at the website from a desktop/laptop computer the website looks great. However, when I look at the website on a smart phone, the slider bar is set to 935px so it looks massive and completely ruins the website front page.
Is there a way to change the slider bar size so it changes depending on whether you are using a smart phone or a computer?

It seems as though the only problem left is the website logo in the header falls behind the text of the header drop down boxes. Would you have any idea how to sit that behind the text too?
