When I upload the picture, it just says the file name of the picture (it doesn’t actually show it) and when I click on it I get a drop-down menu with things like “Using Thumbnail, Using Original, Not Linked, Linked to File, Send to editor” etc.
but when I make it so that it shows original, and I don’t want it linked because I just wanted it to show the picture, then when I send it to the editor all that comes up on my webpage and on the editor is the file name of the picture, not the actual picture.
I had this sort of problem with uploading a file, but I went into my host control panal and loaded it into my wp-admin folder…I did the same for this picture but it didn’t help.

i called my host, and they said they could not give me any info on wordpress because it’s a “third party” and has it’s own support.

anyway, i’ll try to figure it out on my own.

…I notice that my home page is also a blog entry. Is there any way that I can make it so that the home page is not a blog entry but that another page IS a blog entry..so that people can leave comments?

My website is for a political campaign, and I do not want the title of the blogs to be the date and the author. Is there any way I can get rid of that?
