Sorry, Kathryn, but I had to switch to my earlier theme as mobile users told me that the menu sits on top of the blog post text as you scroll to read it. Makes it difficult to read the post. Then I looked on a friends Iphone and saw the same issue. There might be a way to close the menu, but the person reading didn’t get that. I love the Syntax theme, but could keep it if it’s difficult to read on a mobile.

Sorry, but I forgot to give you the link to my blog: http://alwayswellwithin.com

I’ve checked this out and it’s true on the mobile version that the menu bar stretches the width of the text, on top of the text of your blog post, which makes it difficult to see.

I’ve also now had the toggle jump up a few inches almost to the title bar.

I’ve had problematic feedback as well when viewing the theme on a mobile:

“One bit of technical feedback is that on my phone there is a green bar appearing half way on the screen which makes reading difficult. It is your menu bar. It appears when the article reads in Facebook and Safari. It is rather distracting.”

Sorry, I cannot give you a screenshot since this was feedback from a colleague.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will need support for that, so I’m waiting on a friend. I’ll let you know what happens. Thanks again.

It’s happening again! This is the third time in three weeks. How could it be that it happens intermittently like this? The last time it just changed after a few hours. Restarting my computer doesn’t help. I haven’t tried the FTP process yet, since it magically starts working after a few hours. Or has so far.

Thanks for these suggestions. It’s mysteriously working again without having done anything. This happened to me once last week too. I can’t help but think it must be WordPress tweaking something that’s causing these temporary disappearances of the log in button.

In any case, I value your advice and will hold onto it should I have future problems. Thanks very much.
