In reply to: [wpForo Forum] Max File Size changed from MB to BJust saw that someone was having the same issue:
And for anyone else having this issue, it seems that the setting needs to be changed in the “Addons” tab rather than the setting in the “Topics & Posts” tab.

In reply to: [wpForo Forum] Max File Size changed from MB to BThe problem is that the setting in the back end is not being converted to the front end. I put the number of “bytes” into the max file size setting in the back end and it automatically converts it to MB on the back end when saving the settings. But at the front end, it remains as bytes.
For example, if I put 10485760 in the back end settings, when saving it changes to 100 [MB] and then on the front end it shows as 100 B, and so any attempted upload causes:
Error: File is too big. Allowed size is: 100B
Thus my problem is that the number in the settings on the back end is seen as MB, yet that same “number” is shown as B (Bytes) on the front end.
I have tried purging all caches, including the PHP cache, with the same erroneous result.
If you look at adding a post to my forum, you can see the max file size is 350B despite it being 350MB on the back end.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Homepage is not wordpress: possible to run WP super cache? The website I manage uses wordpress, but it has a custom homepage NOT generated by wordpress similar to your case. So I can’t say that this is your issue…
I know there is a way to include some custom code & regex into your functions.php file to have WP Super Cache go after certain pages (so to speak), but I don’t know it off hand. But if you do some web surfing, you can find stuff about it.
I know it’s out there, cause I used a negative version of the code in order to not cache certain pages via specific regular-expressions.
Good luck!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Is This Plugin PHP7 Compatible? The website I manage has been using PHP-7.x.x and WP Super Cache hand-in-hand without any PHP version issues for around a year now, so I can safely say that this plugin is PHP7 Compatible.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] WP Super Cache caused site corruptionIf you are speaking of a “file corruption”, you may want to see this thread:

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] wp-cache-config.php file getting CorruptedSasa,
I am happy to say that your fix has solved the issue!
The corruption has not occurred in the week since making the changes you had suggested.
While I am not a plugin developer, I’d suggest that people having the same issue should likewise see if the fix works for them as well.
Thank you again Sasa.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] wp-cache-config.php file getting CorruptedThank you for the swift reply.
I have a stupid question though…
Which file is the function located in that you wanted me to change?EDIT::
Forget my question. I found the code you were speaking of.
I will swap out the code for the one you suggested and see if the issue happens again.

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Conditional Form Visibility …that is NOT desired.Saw there was an update available, and although I likewise saw that it was for issues unrelated to my own, I went ahead with such. Now, using ver. 5.0.121, the issue remains… with the Forms only working if accessed via an encapsulated Content Protector and not under regular (GET) loading of a page. I’ve tried disabling the Content Protector plugin, and that just prevents any form from showing. It is as though that plugin is correcting the issue which I am yet to identify/isolate.
Looking forward to any thoughts or ideas which you may have.
Correction/Update:
So, now it would be “IT WORKS!…. Oh, wait… No, it doesn’t… umm, hold on… YES IT DOES!!“
Anywho… ‘Knock on wood’ that I’m not merely jumping the gun once again (as I seem to have done with my previous notation). From my technologically-challenged point of view it would seem that the latest PRO version install had indeed done the trick in fixing the issues, and that their supposed persistence (in addition to the self-deemed ‘new issue’) was merely my oversight concerning caching. Thus, after a clearing out the cookies & cleaning the cache of each test-device/browser your programming/form worked without a single hiccup (as I bit at my acrylic nails, lol).
Thank you once more.
Sincerely,
Miss Samantha SummersHello again.
(I sent the info concerning that mailing issue.)
But back to the original issue; I downloaded the latest PRO version, followed the instructions provided and….
IT WORKS!…. Oh, wait… No, it doesn’t…
Though seriously, it worked at first, where a form properly submitted and redirected to the thank you page. But immediately afterwards the forms stopped showing all together, which was never an issue until now… oy.
In addition to this new problem, the other issue of an inability to save/update any of my forms persists (“The data cannot be stored in database because has occurred an error with the form structure.”)…
Any ideas what the new (and old) issue could be?
Thanks in advance.I have received the email you had sent, including the download link. Thank you!
(It seems that the latest (third) support form I had submitted didn’t go through (although it wasn’t returned to me this time. If you need the source-details of the previous returned mails to see if there is an issue with your support mailbox just let me know and I’ll do so via the email you used to send the link.)
I shall download the latest version and get it installed now, and hopefully that will fix everything.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Miss SummersThank you for the quick reply.
However, the previous link I showed was in error on my part. The one you just gave is the same one I had tried (“http://cff.dwbooster.com/contact-us-2#“). I shall try it again though.
(This is just another reason why my AOL-mail is only used for a few things from a while back –my Legacy Mailbox so-to-speak, lol.)
Just a head’s up; I believe that this mailing issue occurred back when I had first purchased the PRO version -if memory serves my properly.
But, I’ll keep my fingers crossed regardless. Thx.
