Hey Benjir — we have followed the documentation. We were able to access using Firefox but not with Chrome.

Thanks for your help and will use Firefox. We will let you know if other issues occur.

Michael — we are using the Elementor Posts widget and not the Core WP Widget.

We create a page (/news). Inside that page we add Elementor Posts widget to the Page and in the Query section we choose “News” from the Select Post Type Dropdown. News in a CPT we created with CPT UI.

In troubleshooting — I did change the Rewrite settings to False which the Pagination starting working again, however the URL for the Single Post is now .com/?news={post slug} and not like it was .com/news/{post slug}.

Also as I menitoned previosuly — if I change the page URL from /news to /news1 (or anything else) it works. So my last resort is just changing the URL but I still have one more domain change to go before going Live. Also in future we have other environments we may need a site with different domain for so really would like to get to the root.

Here are some settings in CPT UI

    News CPT
    Post Type Slug: news
    Has Archive: False
    Rewrite: True
    With Front: False

    Partner News CPT
    Post Type Slug: partner_news
    Has Archive: False
    Rewrite: True
    Custom Rewrite Slug: partner-news
    With Front: False

Still waiting to hear from Elementor. Thanks again for the quick replys!

Hi Michael — thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, that was one of the first things we tried in troubleshooting and did not resolve the issue.

So one thing I saw last night is when I change Rewrite to “FALSE” in CPT UI for those Custom Posts, the pagination works again. However, the URL structure is goofy

    Example: com/?news={post-url}

When I change back to “TRUE” the URL structure goes back to how we have set the rewrite rule but the Pagination doesn’t work again.

What is also perplexing is how if I change the Page URL Slug where I am using Posts on, then the Pagination works. I know I can go this route and just use a different URL, but we will have a final domain change when we go Live and I am unsure now what will happen then.

I have submitted a ticket to Elementor to see what they think as I am at a road block here.

Any other ideas would be helpful.

    Thanks again!
