In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Header not resizing in SafariHi,
Thanks for all of that info.
I have a new version of the plugin ready and being tested right now. It should solve this issue. In the meantime, can you add this to the header section’s custom css under the advanced tab.
selector { width: 100% !important; }I hope this solves the issue until the update is released.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Not working on Elementor 3.11.5I just tested this on 3.11.5 and it’s working. I also noticed on your site that your header is sticky and not using my plugin.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Not working on Elementor 3.11.5Hi, are you using sections or containers? Also, do you have set advanced > motion effects > sticky > top? The plugin isn’t meant to make the header sticky, just change it after scrolling. Some enable the plugin immediately, when scrolling, which is basically the same as setting sticky to top.
I will do some testing today also to try to duplicate the problem.
Ok, I tried again on a different clean install and I’m having the same problem. This is fixed on the pro version beta already. I’ll copy the fix over and push an update.
@maziarom can you follow any of the examples given by the moderator? I’d like the solution to be here and available for others to see anyway.
Thanks, and thank you @sterndata for the troubleshooting recommendations. I’ll keep a copy of that for reference.
i just tried the plugin on a clean install with containers anabled and it’s working for me. Just to be clear, you’re looking at the advanced tab of the container right, not the page settings? Have you tried a section?
Unfortunately, the rules of this forum limit my ability to help. You can email me rwattner@gmail.com and I can help you better.
Hi!
Are you using sections or containers?

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Shrink option stopped working on 1.55Yes. All current issues are fixed in the pro(v2.0) build. The pro version is ready, it uses freemius to remove the pro code from the free version. There is a problem with freemius creating the free version right now. I need that in order to push an update here. I’m working on this on the weekends and in my spare time, which is very little at the moment, unfortunately. Pushing this update also means going live with the pro version. That’s a very big commitment and I’m doing my best to address all the final details which seems to be endless.
I’ll push this update as soon as I can. As you can see, it’s not as simple as a normal update.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Content disappearing behind headerI see that the contact page need more top padding to lower the page content past the header. This is how any transparent header works on any site. You can Google content behind sticky header.
If you use the transparent header option, there is a note saying extra padding is needed. If you use negative margin then that let’s the page content move up under the header. Either way this is just part of transparent headers in general.
You can either add padding to the top of any pages that need it, or make a separate header template that isn’t transparent/overlapping, and set it to display on the necessary pages.
Are you talking about the sticky section on this page?
https://www.wbk.kit.edu/forschungsprojekte/index.php/agirobot/
That looks like an inner section, the plugin isn’t really designed for this kind of use. I think the padding from it’s containing section is keeping it from going 100% width. If you use the transparent header option it might help.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Content disappearing behind headerThis is exactly how this feature works. It hides on scroll down, after a set distance, then shows when scrolling up. If above the set distance, the header behaves as normal.
Both the plugin page and the plugin itself mention this in the description.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Content disappearing behind headerHi, im sorry, I’m having trouble picturing exactly what’s happening. The hide just translates the header off screen. Is it behind the page content when it comes back?
If you have a link that would really help me figure this out.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] Not working with containers yet, right? It was supported and working fine but elementor made some changes. It still being beta status this isn’t unexpected. I’ve actually got it fixed and ready to go. I think I will be releasing the pro version of my plugin and that might require some edits to this free version before I can update.Once that is sorted I’ll release an update which includes the fix for current beta container support.

In reply to: [Sticky Header Effects for Elementor] display problemsI’ve just spent some time on my macOS Big Sur VM and I’m not able to replicate the problem on a clean wp install. Here is the link to my test page https://testing.stickyheadereffects.com/container-header-testing/
I can see the issue on your site while using safari, but not on mine, which makes me think it might be some kind of conflict. Since containers are still technically beta I can’t officially support them yet, unfortunately. I researched this problem and tried several possible solutions and none of them worked on your site.
If you’d like to email me rwattner@gmail.com I could possibly help you further. The rules of this forum limit my ability to help.
