In reply to: Cant access RSS Feed, URL leads to file downloadThe support isn’t very good with my theme creators (I actually asked them 2 months ago), so if you have any advice about fixing it, that would be great.

In reply to: Website slow, using 100% cpu usagejust for a quick experiment try activating the default wordpress theme and see if that makes a difference. i’ve had a look on google and there are a few posts here and there about the quadrum theme being a very slow loader…
Wow, yeah. disabling it makes my pagespeed score from google go from 32 to 61. This really sucks

In reply to: Website slow, using 100% cpu usageok, auto tags generator hasn’t been updated in over a year and is only compatible up to version 3.6.1, scroll back to top hasn’t been updated in 4 months and is only compatible up to 3.9.2.
beyond those potential issues you may have an issue with your theme and visual composer both of which are paid for addons so if you address the plugins that are out of date and things are still slow you should get in touch with themeforest about your theme and wpbakery about their composer.
other things to consider might be the server you’re on…
Alrighty ill get more updated plugins and check WPBakery Visual Composer. thanks for your help

In reply to: Website slow, using 100% cpu usageA few ideas:
have you tested your website to help pinpoint the issues.
use a tool like this: http://www.webpagetest.org/have you chatted with your web host to see if the issues are related to the server?
are you using any plugins that use alot of resources?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/do you have any large images that might be taking a long time to load?
is there anything about the theme that might be causing slowness? does your theme author offer support?
thanks for replying. I will try your links out. my host says everything is fine on their side, it must be a plugin or theme.
i do have large images. is there any way to resize them without reuploading them?
what version of wordpress are you running? what plugins are you using? what theme are you using?
im using wordpress 4.0, theme is quadrum by oangethemes. currently im using Auto Tags Generator, gravityforms, scroll back to top, Simple Ads Manager and WPBakery Visual Composer
