Ok an update
I solved the problem – or at least my hosting provider did. Apparently there was an update to the mod_security plugin that caused the issue. Logging into the cpanel for the affected site and disabling the plugin allowed me to update my pages/posts.
I then re-enabled the plugin in cpanel after updates completed.
Anyone have any ideas? I now have a third site with the same issue – change text on a page, hit update and page not only does not update but it redirects to the home page.
Adding new pages is fine, just can’t make changes.
Also, with the most recent site I HAVEN’T updated to 4.4.1 yet, so it must be a 4.4 thing? Just never noticed until now.
I have other sites, some sharing the same hosting as ones mentioned above – that can update just fine.
I am at a loss. If anyone has any suggetions please let me know?
