I just found this workaround.
Will this break any RSS subscriptions to the “Admin” user’s pots if I do this create, assign, delete, create, assign, delete?
I just recently had this problem too.
Here’s my dilemma with the workarounds.
– I cannot delete a registered user’s account. No way, not going to happen.
– Creating a new “Admin” account, and deleting my old account, makes the links to the old post author for any articles I created previously, go no-where. Also, people that have subscribed to RSS feeds for my admin user’s posts will not receive any new articles for the feed.
There has got to be a fix for this issue. It’s been going on for a few months already.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
BTW – I am using the latest WordPress install (2.6).
