Hi Hardeep, thank you for replying.

I have the ThemeIsle Companion plugin installed. I had it installed all along. I also have the most recent version of the theme installed, just double checked.

Still not seeing the Our Focus, Our Team and Testimonials sections.

    Pease advise.

Aaaand this seems to be due to the latest WordPress update. I downgraded WordPress to the previous version and the menu started working fine again. Not the theme’s fault at all!

Hi @rodicaelena – turns out the error was with my host, not you guys at all. My apologies for the tone of the original message, especially when it was not even your fault at all! The theme is working great, now that the host fixed their crazy glitch.

Ok, so here’s the funky thing about this. When I do it through the Customize Appearance interface, it lets me set up the menu and specify it, and shows it to me in the preview of the page. Then I hit save, but the menu does not show up on the site itself.

BUT – when I go to set up the menu through the Menus interface, it won’t let me save the menu at all! I add all the pages and custom links, everything looks great, and when I hit save, all the items disappear from the menu I just set up! It just clears everything out. I’ve never seen something like this before.

The menu was working fine on Friday before the Great Weird Self Reset of 2017.

Hi @rodicaelena – I already redid the front page, so I’m not sure you’ll get much out of it, but it’s mariavassilieva.com (password notyeti). I’m just thankful it happened while I was working on the site and not after I opened it up.

I know it’s super weird, that’s why I was so freaked out by it yesterday. I manually installed the latest theme update on Friday and kept working on the site after that, so it definitely wasn’t that. So…??

Wow, the support for this theme is amazing. And by “amazing” I mean non-existent. I liked Make as I was playing with the free version of it. I was planning to buy the premium version of it before the problems started…but decided to go with another theme that does not have basic issues like this and does provide better (and I mean ANY) support to its users.

    I am quite disappointed.

Also, the text overlay on the banner does not keep its position relative to the image when the window size changes. As I make the window smaller, the text keeps sliding down relative to the image, until it disappears off the image altogether.

Thanks for the quick reply, Melissa! Makes sense, and glad to know I’m not crazy. 🙂 Was it mentioned in the documentation somewhere? I don’t recall seeing that bit, might help avoid confusion if it were more prominent.

Hey @lenprintz, I had the same problem and just figured it out. This was happening to me because I didn’t select which list I wanted the subscriptions to go to.

Under Mailchimp for WP settings, go to Forms.

Sandwiched between “Load form styles (CSS)?” and “Form Mark up”, there’s the very key question of

    Lists this form subscribes to

To the right of it you should see the list you set up in Mailchimp with an unchecked box next to it.
    Check the box.

That fixed it for me. Hope it helps you too.

Note to developer: this wasn’t a super intuitive location for that very important bit of setting up, took me a while to figure it out. I think it would be much easier to find if it was on the Settings tab, under or within the table that shows our list(s).
