    Figured out the problem, the code wasn’t within php tags.
    Now I have the slider with all my posts underneath it. How do I remove the posts from the homepage without affecting the slider?

    I have uploaded WordPress to bytehost via FileZilla, logged into the cPanel X, but I am getting “Error establishing a database connection” when I go to the wp-login.php, despite having the correct details in the correct details in wp-config.php Do I need to activate anything?

    I have a chart in Google sheets published on a website. As the chart data updates in Google, there is a latency of about 2 minutes give or take, in the published data being updated. I don’t know off-hand whether the latency in the chart updating on the website is down to Google exporting or WordPress importing. Does WordPress have a setting to speed up the refreshing of published data?
