any pointers on how to resolve these issues?
I figured it out. I needed to go to the Products Page in the admin and it allows you to create products from there. It is confusing because creating a new post allows you to do this also. The eShop is the only plugin I have activated (however I do have WP E Commerce installed, but not active). Thank you.
I’m not sure what a shortcode is, and yes the only way to create a product is by creating a new post. You can see this by going to http://www.rootedup.net and looking at the one and only post, and see that the product doesn’t appear on the products page.
