    I tried adding the plugin last night in attempt to maybe have the YouTube video be visible to your plugin but as before without the plugin there is just an image placeholder and no video in the AppleNews Article generated by the plugin.

    I have no disabled the plugin as well as the Featured Image on the page itself… yet the video still does not show up on the Apple News Article the plugin generated:

    I am experiencing similar issues with youtube… when I publish the article it shows just the Feature Image but no YouTube link of the embeded link.

    Now what do I do with articles that are in limbo from before everything was working and are showing up as “PENDING”? I there a way to reset the status so I can no submit them correctly?

    1) I have received this message from my server admin:
    We have enabled the ‘allow_url_fopen’ setting in your php.ini file. This should resolve the issue that you’ve experienced with the Apple News plugin. Also, the file_get_contents() function is working fine. I have uploaded a test script at http://thehollywoodconnecti.ipage.com/test/fg.php which is using the file_get_contents() function and is loading fine. Please check it from your end.

    2) I tried to publish an Article with the 1.05 plugin and got this error message: THERE HAS BEEN AN ERROR WITH THE API. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR API SETTINGS ARE CORRECT AND TRY AGAIN: WRONG_SIGNATURE

    3) Checked the PHP Error Log and this is what it said:

    Where can I check a server issue and more importantly fix it? Why would the server not allow to publish to apple? when it allows everything else….

    I got the same error… very frustrating… especially due to the face that this is the only plugin supposedly with the capability to publish to Apple News on WordPress…
