In reply to: Lost password – password reset not workingthis is not about resetting the password in other ways – we have clients on the site that at times need to change their passwords and they cant use alternative methods than the functionality that WordPress offers and that functionality is not doing what it is supposed to at the moment… so for me as administrator its fine to follow alternative methods but its not practical for customers…
any outcome to this? i need similar solution ASAP!

yea I got it working for our purposes. those guys services are beyond pathetic – I purchased another plugin from them with no support on that either – if they start a forum at least one can post issues on there but the response time and assistance that one get when they actually respond is bs – also waiting for refund on last purchase…

The site is actually a wedding registry where clients register, create a wishlist of items and then a guest viewer will be able to buy items for specific couple’s registries.
So basically it will be the guests (non registered visitors) who must be able to do a quick search for a couple’s registry and when found, click on it and be redirected to a little public profile page of the couple with only a profile pic, welcome message and a concatenated field of user_firstname . ” & ” . partner_firstname.
I’ve created a profile page but its only for a logged in user – I dont know how to make it public. I have some code that I was working on if you would like to see? Just dont think it’s nicely done…
