In reply to: [Astra] Issue: Astra search is not showing appropriate resultHi Aradhy,
Thanks for you revert. I am in an urgent need for a solution since its a live website and hence the criticality. I can create a ticket via the support portal + can hop on a virtual call to go through the concern (if this is applicable), to expedite the concern.
To answer your questions, I have used the WordPress Astra theme (to add all the pages) and have used Elementor – free version design. Added the Media (Image, PDFs) through Elementor’s features/Elements.
I also tried a lot in the meantime and understood that I did not mention the “Title” in the WordPress page, instead I left it blank (other than the ‘Slug’) and inside the page I designed everything through the Elementor. I get the hyperlink to that Page though but not the exact result.
As for example again, I searched “Hypokalemia” in the search bar, I could not get that specific publication or the article name, whereas, I get the “Previous Issue” mentioned and hyperlinked with some random publication or article. Problem statement is that, it still does not remain specific to my search keyword.
Requesting your response as early as possible.
Thanks a lot,
Rohit

In reply to: [Astra] Issue: Astra search is not showing appropriate resultHi Aradhy,
In addition to my previous comment, I also wanted to let you know that I had placed below mentioned in the “Additional CSS”:
/* Remove meta data */
.entry-meta .byline, .entry-meta .cat-links { display: none; }
.entry-meta .posted-on { display: none; }This was needed since, admin’s email address was being displayed during the search results.
Hope this information helps to guide me better.
Thanks,
Rohit

In reply to: [Astra] Issue: Astra search is not showing appropriate resulthi Aradhy,
sure, the url is http://www.mjbar.in. You will find the top header with menu and you will find “Previous Issues” and “Current Issue”.
Please select some text from these two menu and try using the search. First, it will not show you the exact result, plus it will not hyperlink the result, not enabling the user to go to the exact location where that (searched) text was present.
Thanks,
Rohit
hey Irinel,
Thanks for stepping in. I am sorry to update you late here, but I was able to figure out the solution by amending the CSS.
Regards,
Rohit
