In reply to: Set Front Page Display, not workingArgh… it looks like hell going straight to the posts because my posts really aren’t for a blog, it’s for a facility I run and wordpress is just the easiest way to update and show off the horses. Oh well, I guess I have to suck it up.

In reply to: Set Front Page Display, not workingWell, either way I’ve tried it tells me there is an issue with the .htaccess =/ I usually just do the main page as welcome then keep the other one whatever it says normally. I can’t find the .htaccess for wordpress so I’m hoping just making it writeable or whatever would work but I really don’t know.

The “welcome” page is listed up top as the first link. (http://www.rockonxox.com/visionseq/?page_id=3)
What I did was go into wp-admin and
1. Go to Options
2. Go to Reading
3. Select front page to display a static page
4. Selected welcome as the page to display

In reply to: Change Category OrderFigured it out on my own. I just had to delete all cats and redo them in the order I wanted so they could have the id order I need to use the orderby=id tag. Thanks.

In reply to: Change Category OrderI’m not finding what I need there. What I want to do is list my 3 categories in this order: News, Breeding & Sales, Equines. I only have 3 categories, each has many subcategories that I don’t mind how they are organized. I would like alphabetically if possible. Can I do this somehow?

In reply to: Page links, remove “pages” heading but keep styleEck, uploaded the sidebar I’ve been messing with, not the header. Thank you! Now I just have to figure out why the links are in such a different location from the original design making the layout look funny.
