In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] Split test pages with custom URLsHi clickharder,
we had an email correspondence on this topic. For all others. There is a need to modify the plugins source code to get this working as there is no filter for that. If you are interested in this topic we will help under info@rocketelements.io to get a fitting solution.
The requested features are on our roadmap. So stay tuned π

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] Extend AB testing options to custom elementsAre you asking to track conversions to the elements you add? Or do you want to be able to test the your elements against each other.
If the last one is what you are looking for you can extend the SplitTestForElementor\Admin\Classes\Events\AfterSectionEndEvent. In the fire function you can add your custom element and where the split test controls should be placed. We are planning to extend the plugin so every element can be used. But for now we are waiting for the elementor team to approve some changes to the source code of elementor itself.

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] What is the Conversion Widget Type?We have made a video with a complete walk through the plugin witch will answer your questions. It can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KUgDw45EXU
Here some short answers:
1 β test url – The URL the Test will run under
2 β test variation – If you want to test two headlines against each other each headline is a variation
3 β post – Post is equal to page in this case. We may change the naming in the future.
4 β conversion type – Says if you want to test hole pages or only page elements against each other
5 β conversion page – The page there the conversion is counted. The page there for example the user has successfully signed up to your newsletter- This reply was modified 7 years, 8 months ago by rocketelements.

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] Free version limitations? What you can download here is the free version. The only limitation is that you only can run 5 tests at the same time with maximum 2 variations. For more you have to buy the pro version. In addition we will add some conversion targets to the pro version. But for now this is the only implementation.

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] ID ConflictWe release a new version where the widget content is purged. You may take a look it fits your needs π

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] ID ConflictYes this is true. We will release this in the next version. Due to Elementor limitations we can only purge the content of the widget itself and not the wrappers surrounding the widget. That should be a solution anyway. At least for the image loading.

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] ID ConflictI understand the problem. Not writting the html could be a potential performance problem but it is on our list. Maybe there are other upsides on removing the content too. For now we will stick to that as the most common online services do it similar.

In reply to: [Split Test For Elementor] Assigning a page to the split testFor the first problem you stated i will suggest a different solution. We could make a direct link to the pages where the spit test is running in the edit page of the split test. You solution would make the workflow a little bit more complicated and we want it to be as easy as possible. Would be that a good solution?
The second future is on our list π
