[SOLVED] In the Taxonomy Support section of the Media Library Assistant settings, there is an option to choose which Taxonomy filters get listed. I ticked the one for Att. Categories and the dropdown is now visible. Hope this helps anyone that runs into the issue.

When trying to add ANY black and white image to a new or existing gallery, they will not upload. Please see attached screenshot.
