Sorry my links got very confused in that:
I’ve just switched to the unadulterated TwentySixteen theme and that has the same problem so probably not my tweaks to CSS and functions.php that’s the cause.

Hi – new WordPress user and clean-ish site here. Clean install but all I’ve done is duplicate the latest TwentySixteen themse as MyTwentySixteen theme. I have tweaked the CSS to tighten up blank space around the header and added a couple of extra functions to functions.php
The event page is only showing one reply although there are three:

Doh! Sorted it – was putting it in the wrong functions.php file and not the one in the Themes folder.
