Anyone from Brainstorm on the support forum to help answer this? Not heard a peep for two days on my support email ticket to Brainstorm Force…..
A little more info…..
On the new subdomain, with fresh install of WordPress+Astra+Spectra, after updating the image from the stock image to the one I want, the HTML code behind the image block is thus:
<figure class=”wp-block-uagb-image__figure”><img srcset=https://mytestdomain.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/varta.png ,https://mytestdomain.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/crop-woman-using-calculator-and-taking-notes-on-paper.jpg 780w, https://mytestdomain.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/crop-woman-using-calculator-and-taking-notes-on-paper.jpg 360w src=https://mytestdomain.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/varta.png alt=”Varta Silver Dynamic Car Battery” class=”uag-image-1333″ width=”287″ height=”287″ title=”” /></figure>
I see the image source set is still referring to the ‘smaller’ stock images. If I remove these references all is fine.
So I guess the question is: “Whats not working correctly when replacing the image in block editor”?
Next test will be to completely remove the image and add it in from scratch. Surely that way the code behind cant possibly reference the old stock images, can it?
Or perhaps the smaller resolution pictures of the images I want need to be created also – but I don’t see anywhere in the block editor where you can specify mobile versions of the image…..
New to WordPress, but looking at this stuff is helping with the learning curve.
