#wpcr_respond_2 {display:inherit !important;}
It overrides the plugin css which sets it to display:none.
takes a little more hacking to hide the button.

did you ever figure this out? I am looking to do the same thing.
From a user point of view, why require the extra click? It should be frictionless for customers to leave a review.

I am seeing all of these issues as well. The UI changes may well be a step backwards.
