I have tried for almost seven months to just get a reply on this foum. Is there some special code I need to enter or is there something I am doing wrong?
I have now six sites where there are major plugin activation issues. I have been through all aspects of the sites PHP is over 5.2 MySQL is compattible but try to activate a major plugin … latest SEO Ultimate and it crashed the admin section ALWAYS the only way to recover is to use FTP to delete the whole plugin directory and then the Admin come up.

Is there anyone out there who can help? Even a hint? It is getting to the stage that I am going to have to can WordPress and move to Joomla or Drupal because this is just not working

Nope that does not do it, I actually have had this before but restored my Dbase and it resolved the problem. what I am hoping is to see if someone knows perhaps what the change in the Dbase is that causes this so I can rectify only that area. I have done a compare on the data base back-up and current version but as yet not spotted a major issue
