The answer to your question is Running PHP version: 5.6.30…

Thinking it was unrelated…As a test I uploaded a new plug-in and the install failed. I called Go Daddy back and asked them to look at the plug-in upload problem. They found an error on a path permission when they tranferred my content over to a new hosting platform origianlly.

The change they made fixed the plug-in upload error AND my memphis docs are all back and accessible.

I appreciate all your help, patience and support. Outstanding plug-in and support.

Change to 777 and received the same result. I have changed them both back to 705.

    uploads d r w x – – – r – x
    mdocs d r w x – – – r – x

This happened when I had GoDaddy move a site from a Linux based account to a WordPress based account. Thier feedback was reinstall the plugin and reload the the docs… Not very helpful. I appreciate you taking time to help me figure this out when you didn’t cause the problem.

    Answered my own question….

    Two approaches:
    1) Back end via my hosting provider (did not use but answered my question)
    2) Using standard Memphis doc functionality

    1) Back End – you can find the files in this path…
The files are stored in webroot>wp-content>uploads>mdocs

    2) Memphis docs has a “lost files” feature found by selecting OPTIONS>FIND LOST FILES.
This identifies files that are not in a folder anywhere and allows you to restore them to an existing folder.

I discovered that whatever I did to cause the issue resulted in replacing my existing folder with a new folder. When I used the “find lost files” feature, the files in my missing existing folder were identified and I restored them to the new folder I created. I then created another new folder with the same name (not required but since I reference the short code on my site I used the same name). I then used “Batch Move” to move the restored files to the new folder. All worked well. Find Lost Files is a great feature.

Again – outstanding plugin and maintained feature set. I very much appreciate well designed capabilities. Thank you!!!

I answered my own question. I used the URL category when editing the folder list.

    …wp-admin/admin.php?page=memphis-documents.php&mdocs-cat=mdocs-cat-7&att=null

This is the shortcode I used…
    [mdocs cat=”mdocs-cat-7″]
