In reply to: Upgrade to 2.2 – Dashboard not workingSame here…
One thing to note, I’m not getting the same error.
I’m getting:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/index-extra.php on this server.I too put the code into .htaccess and got nothing.
Why was this a vital change in the way WordPress works… it seems like more of a pain in the ass than it’s worth.

In reply to: Requiring a URI on commentsno one so far, that has commented on my blog, does not have one, they usually hide it in their email without putting in a website. I just want the option to deter “anonymous” comments a bit.
I realize that there is always the http://www.biteme.com kids, but I figure that if you’re that determined, your comment will be blocked anyway.

In reply to: 403 error in theme editorI get a similar issue on my blog.
On one blog, if I attempt to edit a post I get the error… on the other, if I edit any Theme template minus the stylesheet.
The error I get is:

In reply to: WP Hacked TwiceI just deleted it… everything functions perfectly.
Odd, because that wasn’t there the other day, and I haven’t installed a plugin in over a month.
Deletion fixed it.

In reply to: WP Hacked TwiceOk, this is not very comforting… my blog was working PERFECLTY about an hour ago, and with out a visible reason, it has ceased to function.
I was witnessing the same problem stated here, had un 777/666’ed my files to 655/755 and even double checked all my passcodes and SQL users… now I have this error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/jamesme/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/edit-comments-full.php on line 210

In reply to: WP Hacked TwiceSo if I email my host about this, they should be able to assist me you think?
My issue is I have one of these scripts in front of my DOCTYPE, and it’s not visible in the template file… I can’t find it anywhere.
