Here is my plan…
Download Redirect Plugin…
rename the parent page and change the url….
then in the page attribute section, assign the child to the new parent’s name.
Along with working with the “My Page Order” in the page admin section.
What do you think?

Not to argue with you here, just a thought….
The other pages work fine…..
This just happened today.
I did add some plugins last night…
just these two are not working now.
Leaving a total revamp aside as a last resort,
could I just deactivate the plugins one at a time to see if there is a plugin that interfering first?Forum: Fixing WordPress

Thanks for all your time on this query…The last fix did not work..ony yielded home and no other pages in menu.
So I got a hunch to make the duplicate page a “privately published” page…and it worked…now it only shows up as the home page!
