In reply to: Twenty Eleven – Navigation bar in header AND FOOTER?Thanks WPyogi
Thank you for your advice. I haven’t made any changes yet and will make a child theme as you point out. I’ve just learnt how to make child themes and I want to develop my skills here. I’ve started by adding a style sheet and playing with css. But I’m not sure yet how to change php. Do I simply create a ‘footer’ php file and add to child theme and then paste in code for nav bar from header.php file? Like you say there may be other alterations to make – what is an ID here in this case (I understand IDs for posts etc.)
Thank you.
Best wishes

In reply to: Centre Page Titles CSS – twenty elevenThank you very much – I’m using a twentyeleven theme extension plug-in by MozTools (really great by the way) and you have the option to add custom css and hey presto it worked – you can see the results http://www.musicenglish.co.uk 🙂
Thank you dbeja – much appreciated

I am pretty new to this work – creating a child theme was my first step into this brave new world – could you describe how to create a header.php file and swap with the code where the image header is displayed?
Thanks again.
Best wishes
