In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Configuration Error MessageThe Configuration Validator seems to be a good idea, but just saying there’s an error, but not giving a rough indication of what is causing it is poor.
Presumably if the validator knows there’s an error, then it should be able to say what is tripping it.
@cais – Thanks for the offer. I’d not put through a support request as the rollback option worked each time… but will have another go with the next update.
@mightyaswell – No probs… usual backup rules apply as YMMV. 😉
@cais – Everytime I have tried to upgrade (automatic or manual) NextGen stops working, and when enabled all the site’s pages default to the homepage. Rolling back to 1.9.13 is the only thing that brings the functionality back.
If it helps, I’m currently using 1.9.13 with WP 4.0, and seems to be fine.
I would upgrade to 2.x, but haven’t found a reliable way of upgrading so have ended up rolling back each time.

I’ve voted again, and although there was no ‘thank you’ type message, the latest voting tally was displayed so is perhaps working now?

I’m unable to upgrade to the latest version now that the ‘Show ImageBrowser’ has been removed. 🙁
The overlays aren’t very friendly with the responsive design of the website.
