Thank you for your reply and my apologies for naming a commercial plugin. I was just wondering if I understood correctly that that plugin was the problem. But after uninstalling it the problem continues. I can’t login to my site after updating php 8.0 or 8.1 (and some of the pages are broken to – products are missing). The username and the password are correct. Sometimes the problem is the username does not exist and sometimes the message in the screen is “Your PHP Installation Appears to be Missing the MySQL Extension”. I need to find out where to check if this MySQL extension is installed and go on from that.
