In reply to: [Virtue] Fontawesome icons missing with "www" in URLThanks, I think that will fix the issue for me. The thing that bugged me the most is how this specific instance could be different than what I had experienced before… ah, the cost of dealing with so many many files and lines of code! Thank you again for the help. Love your themes.

In reply to: [Virtue] Fontawesome icons missing with "www" in URLThank you for the information. I suspected that this was the type of thing going on. I can create the redirect myself… but this is the first time this has happened to me… thus prompting my question. I have used this same development process on multiple occasions, yet this is the first issue of this sort.
I’ll follow up with a confirmation and mark it resolved after I confirm things are working as expected, based upon your advice. Again, thanks for the help and excellent theme.

In reply to: [Virtue] Update Issue@k2kla, I think the problem is that the functions file is calling for other files that are missing in the update package. Glad you were able to restore your site via a backup.
Hopefully, our friends at Kadence will fix the issue soon. In my past dealings with them, they are good to work with.

In reply to: [Virtue] Update IssueThanks… with my limited skills, I found that the problem likely rests with files / folders missing from the “themeoptions” directory. I was able to simply copy the “themeoptions” folder to my installation and get back online. Didn’t lose my custom CSS, etc. either.
Maybe this will help someone a little 🙂
CORRECTION: I may have spoken too soon… it does appear that simply uploading the themeoptions folder left some things undone… I guess I had better replace the whole virtue theme directory and move on. (grumble grumble)

In reply to: [Virtue] Update IssueI have to join the chorus here… after last update, my site is broken: http://www.nicholaschronicles.org/
This is my error:
Warning: require_once(/homepages/xx/xxxxxxxxx/htdocs/nc_new_wp): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/xx/xxxxxxxxx/htdocs/nc_new_wp/wp-content/themes/virtue/functions.php on line 10
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ” (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php5.6′) in /homepages/xx/xxxxxxxxx/htdocs/nc_new_wp/wp-content/themes/virtue/functions.php on line 10
LOVE the theme and hopefully the developer will correct this soon. when you folks deleted your theme and uploaded the previous version, did you lose your customizations?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Removing "kick a**"? Please.Thank you very much! I really appreciate your help with this. One last question though… will this addition to the functions file stay if you guys update the events calendar plugin? By the way, I am using a child theme to preserve this function against it getting knocked out by a theme update. Thanks again!!!
PLEASE excuse my error… this is placed in the wrong forum by accident. Moderator, remove this for me please.
All specific Events Manager pages seem to be fine… we don’t use many pictures on the individual events posts, BUT all of my other photo galleries are affected… the thumbnails are not the correct size and the lightbox is broken (if Events Manager is active)
Hello there… sorry I didn’t give a link first. Look at this page for an example: http://www.fbctrenton.net/super-seniors-at-discovery-park/
I assume that Virtue / Pinnacle Toolkit is simply “styling” the native WordPress gallery function, but I am not 100% certain. However, in your plugin settings, if I “disable thumbnails” under general options, shouldn’t that prevent your plugin from interfering with the native WordPress thumbnail processes?
Thank you for the help. I would like to continuing using your Events Manager, but I cannot if it breaks other plugins.

In reply to: [Virtue/Ascend/Pinnacle Toolkit] Pinnacle Galleries Not WorkingThanks for trying to help me out… I have posted in the forum for the other plugin, so maybe they can suggest something. If not, I will need to switch to a new event calendar because I want to keep Pinnacle Galleries pure… as I said, love the look!

In reply to: [Virtue/Ascend/Pinnacle Toolkit] Pinnacle Galleries Not WorkingOk, I found the conflict… it is from a plugin called Events Manager, https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager/
However, I have not figured a way to cure it… I tried disabling a couple of options in the events manager plugin that has to do with thumbnails, but so far… no luck. This is sad too, because it was the second events (calendar) type plugin I have tried… hate to keep changing. Rats.

In reply to: [Virtue/Ascend/Pinnacle Toolkit] Pinnacle Galleries Not WorkingI did clear the cache and minification… I deactivated most (not all) of the plugins to test, but I guess I had better deactivate everything but the Pinnacle toolbox to test.
