  • I worked with it a bit, and found a solution. But I am still working through this quick edit problem. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Thank you.

I also had a problem with the quick edit function, and after adding the line of code Esmi suggested, my problem got worse. The web link that I am having problems with is the post area.

After I tried taking away the code, just like it was before when I did the change, it still stayed that way, a bunch on info all mixed up on a page.

    Please help, thank you.

It took a little too long to load for me, which is kind of a turn off. Also, I agree with what the previous posters said about the colour. I personally don’t have advice about this, in terms of what colour you should choose, but the one you have now, has GOT to go.

Otherwise, decent site you have there.

Just viewed it as a consumer, or an interested reader, and not as a designer or whatnot, I think it looks ok. For me, the page does jump out at you. It looks modern and edgy, which is something that works well with the niche you are working with.

From what I saw in the config file, all that needed to be changed was my SQL password. After doing that, saving it, I tried loading the blog, nothing. So, I am really not sure what else to change or proceed.

I did not. Can you please tell me what information to put in the WP-config file after re-installing?

    Thank you.

As much as I appreciate the reply, it didn’t really answer anything clear cut. I already referred to the WP section for backup and restore, which is what “aided” me during my backup and ultimate restore failure, so, what I am looking for is some guidance in how to proceed next. Those links are not helpful for my situation, and because I am fairly new to WP, a clear answer, after looking at all the information I posted, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    To add,

After doing it the way I mentioned, currently, it says “Error establishing a database connection.

After the reinstall, I first tried to restore backup databases from my home computer, then copy all the backed up files into it. No luck. I then reinstalled WP again, this time copying the backed up files into it, then restore the database from my home computer. Still no luck. So, I really don’t know what else to do.

    Thank you.
