I am ashamed. I had setup the new blog folder on the server with a capital B instead of lowercase.
As above. Ive just done exactly that.
Copy the WP files onto the htdocs folder of wamp or into a seperate folder in htdocs if you prefer eg blog, and them using your browser go to localhost or localhost/ blog
Have you got the WP files in the right place ? I’m not sure about macs but on the win version any documents that you want to be seen by the browser have to go onto the htdocs folder.
