I’m wondering if somone could shed some light on an related issue: I have an image designated with the twitter:image tag but when I post articles that clearly include an image that is large enough to be used as a “large image” card, the image in the article is ignored and that default twitter:image is used every time.
I thought that default image displayed ONLY when there wasn’t an image in the article. What am I missing?

Another issue. Now, both of the options under the “Media” section (“Speed up images and photos” AND “Transform standard image galleries into full-screen slideshows”) are greyed out, preventing me from toggling on/off.
apply_filters ( 'jetpack_photon_skip_image', bool false, string $src, string $tag )So once I add that to my child theme’s functions file, I can use jetpack_photon_skip_image as a class for individual images? Sorry, I’m not proficient with development code so I don’t really understand how that would work.
Also, I don’t mind using the feature if the images are not blurry. I switch “Speed up images and photos” back on and visit that support page with a link in the next hour.

Deleting the files and installing Wordfence “seems” to have resolved the issues.
