Sorry, I did not find the solution up till now. I cleared the cache several times but nothing happened. I also have no other plugins installed since it is a “virgen” installation, completly new. I will have a look at it again tomorrow.

In reply to: Strange date errors in theme/comentsThank you guys … I solved it. Indeded the problem was the Qtranslate plugin but it was actually not a problem but some stupidity from my sied.
I didn’t know you have to set the date format for each language in the preferences panel from the plugin. I changed this and VOILA … problem solved.
There you are, learning each day step by step to be a real WP master (lllloooonnnnngggg way to go still)

Thaks for the tip anyway. I suppose the problem is the translation plugin, something I really bned in this theme.
I wish I just could get ridd of the date/text in the theme, I just don’t know where to look to take the code out. I suppose it is not the theme file but the actuel WP core files. Am I right ??

I actually see your filed the same size as the other fields which are standard all 29 characters wide, even the textarea (which can be dragged bigger). I suppose it must be something to do with the theme.

Me too have read on the webiste of Contact Form 7 itself you can set the width easily like your method.
The strange thing is, it doesn’t work for me. I have tried everything but the fields always stay the same width no matter what I do or put in.
What could be the reason for this.
Apart from that, I use CF7 in some 16 sites and I oike it very much, it’s easy and works great (apart from the width thing)

BUT isn’t there a way of getting around the proces of sign up and sign in ?? In my case I really don’t want this. I really only want to use the fact people can post news and charge them something for this using the Paypal system. There are no really other forms out there which can do the same. That’s why the wp-user-frontend is the good one in my case.
