Hello again. I’ve searched for other plugins but none quite works like this one does.
By “widget alternative needs to be activated” I assume you mean that I need to put a widget in the sidebar. Well, I have done that.
I’ve found what looks like a bug. With a fresh install and default options, the widget /does/ appear in the sidebar and it looks great. However, when I change the “Filter Comments” option from “All Comments” to “Current Category”, the widget vanishes. I have changed no other options. I’d really like help with this because I love this plugin.
I’m currently using the plugin version 1.3.4 and WordPress version 3.1. That may the problem, though I can’t imagine why. Wizzart only seems to be verified through 3.0.5.
It does work! That was rather simple. Thanks! 🙂

In reply to: Cannot add new link to blogrollTurned out to be a problem with my hosting. Upgraded hosting, and that fixed all the various problems I had. *sigh* Everything works now, so that’s good!

In reply to: Cannot add new link to blogrollDeactivated plugins, no result. Switched theme, no result. For some reason the plugins were still doing something, so I deleted them all. Then I deleted and reuploaded wp-admin and wp-includes and that finally worked. I can add links. But I CAN’T add media.
I’m getting this message in the media uploader: “Unable to create directory /wordpress/wp-content/upLoads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
I actually DO have a directory named upLoads in the correct path, and I’ve temporarily changed my file permissions to 777, but that doesn’t help. Could it possibly be my FTP program (FileZilla), or my host (GoDaddy)?

In reply to: Cannot add new link to blogrollNo… I will try all of those, thanks!
The same thing is happening with the media uploader – no matter what I try I can’t upload media. Gonna see if any of those solutions work, and then I’ll come back if they don’t.
