I’m afraid I have exactly the same problem !

The pictures look OK on a computer (Internet Explorer ).
But on the iPhone, some of them are rotated.
I have to specify that some pictures were rotated after uploading.
It is fairly possible that because of a bug, the mobile version just ignores the rotation applied to some pictures.
Please wordpress look into that.
