I actually have already gone through the steps you’ve laid out, and in the process WP created a new site, with the domain name that I own through GoDaddy. But I want the WP site that I had already created to be launched under that domain name. Since WP thinks that I already have a site with that domain name, though, it won’t allow the existing WP site to be launched as such. I hope that makes sense.

In reply to: Can’t connect WP site to domainThe problem actually isn’t on the GoDaddy side, but rather on the WP side. WP shows that I have two sites: cooperaudubon.wordpress.com and cooperaudubon.org (which is the domain owned through GoDaddy). So the domain is, in fact, showing up in WP, but I was trying to launch the first site AS cooperaudubon.org. Does that make sense? When trying to launch the WP site, I clicked on the “I own my domain” (or something to that effect), but in the wrong place on the WP website, which is why it created that second site. I’m now not able to get the two connected, in effect.
