Thanks for your answer, as I didn’t get an answer since 3 weeks ago I went ahead and updated the theme as it was a requirement to update the PHP version of the site (which is an important update to be done).
How would I know if there is any impact on the site as it’s not live yet and there is no activity on it till now to notice my problem.

Also how to install the default theme you recommended?

Thank you for your reply.I don’t think this is the problem, because when I searched kits, the result was info from shipping page, video page, home page.

How about adding search function using plugins instead of widget? I think I have to deactivate the widget first, right?

Especially I wanted live autocomplete search function. By searching I found this plugin which offers that feature “Live Ajax Search plugin” the problem it’s not compatible with version 5.8

You are right just remove homepage from URL.
Yes there is a search icon in desktop view but there is few issues with it;
-The search icon doesn’t appear in mobile view
-The search result isn’t accurate , I have for example colored sand and kids kits in my shop if you try to search them you’ll ever not have a result or it will come up with irrelevant findings at the end of the result page.

Also I didn’t get your answer when you said
