In reply to: Different Kinds of LinksOh, okay. Cool. 😀
Damn, I saw a post in regard to this the other day, but now I can’t find it! So i’m really really sorry, cos this will be very repetitive: how do you get the sidebar to move to the left side? =\Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Links — Fatal ErrorOuch. Another re-install? Let’s hope this will be my last. 🙂

In reply to: Error establishing a database connection!Oh, I had the same problem hardly a few hours ago. It seems that my issue was that I hadn’t uploaded my files into the correct folder. But after I ammended that, it was all go for me.

In reply to: Problem with URL and PasswordYes, it seems that you’re right. Thank-you so much for all the help (and time) you’ve given, podz. =] And many thanks to NM, also! I’m very grateful! Who knew I was so incompetent when it comes to installing blogging scripts.

In reply to: Problem with URL and PasswordAh, bless you! 😀 It works!! (I’m so stupid, it said wp-config right in front of me, but I was fiddling with the wp-login the whole time.)
Another question about my blog appearing at my domain index. For now, it’s homepage is http://ravenskar.net/index.php, but how do I make it appear at http://ravenskar.net — or is that not possible?Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Problem with URL and PasswordI think.. i’m clearing the wrong spaces. I’ve been deleting random spaces and things, but they’ve made no difference. I really can’t tell the difference between a random space, and a deliberate space. I think I may be happily screwing up my wp-login file.

In reply to: Problem with URL and PasswordAh, man. I don’t think WP is very fond of me. So I deleted all WP 1.2 related stuff from my server, and uploaded the newest Nightly version I could find. During the transfer process, though, CuteFTP consistently crashed, and I kept having to resume the transfer ‘cos it was “shut down incorrectly”.
And still i find myself with precisely the same problem. What am I doing wrong? The only thing different, is that there isn’t a little text input with “”<?php echo $guessurl; ?>” in it. In fact, in the Step Two, there is just one HUGE fat slab of coding, with only one “Groovy. We’re almost done.” at the very end.
My username is “admin”, but my password is still just “”. I tried clicking on the log in link anyway, and once again it makes me download the wp-login.php file. I don’t understand why i need to, when I already have it?? Every time I click it, it makes me download another php file.
I also tried going here: http://ravenskar.net/wp-admin/install.php
But it tells me that I don’t have a wp-config.php file, even though I do!
Fiddlesticks. =\Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Problem with URL and PasswordI actually wanted my blog to be at
http://ravenskar.net
So, it’s like.. the first thing you see?Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Problem with URL and PasswordShould I just try reinstalling the whole thing again? =\
