there is actually a difference in the plugin
while the original plugin had dozens of bugs, and haven`t been updated for more than a year (except when you buy the updated version for approx 70 USD)
mine contains some code improvements and should be compatible with wordpress 3.0-3.3i know it doesn`t work flawless I have heard of users who got it working without problems
the credentials error is still something I haven`t got under control
